Our story begins with Mike, the founder, whose love for German engineering and high-performance cars started at an early age. Mike’s started his journey in the automotive world in 2005 and worked at Audi and Porsche dealerships throughout his career. His experience working with premium brands gave him a deep understanding of German craftsmanship and a commitment to delivering unmatched quality.

After nearly two decades of working in dealership environments, Mike saw an opportunity: to offer the same dealership-level expertise but with a more personalized approach. In 2023, he took the leap and opened German Automotive Performance in Arnold, MD. His mission was clear: to provide a trusted alternative to dealerships, offering premium service at a fair price for Audi, Porsche, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, and Volkswagen owners.

Recently had my vehicle in for service after a major aftermarket part broke and rendered my vehicle inoperable. No other shop would give me the time of day at 7:30 at night (Even the shop that incorrectly installed the part in the first place). Mikey told me to bring the vehicle over right away and we assessed the damage together. He set up a game plan to get my car back on the road ASAP and constantly updated me with his progress. He even did a full diagnosis on my vehicle and found a faulty water pump on which he was able to replace saving me hundreds of dollars down the road. Very genuine guy who doesn’t try to take advantage of you. You can tell he has a passion for this career and his work shows it for sure.
